You have probably done your research but it is advisable to find out as much information as you can from different sources about this country you have chosen to visit, or migrate to.
What are their visa requirements?
What documentation do you need, how do you get them, are you eligible to move to this country with this documentation you have. Is it a visa free country, do you need to get funds ready? Will you be interviewed?, what are the requirements for driving?, for schools? Can you go with a dependant? Do your children need visas. Know all that is required to move.
What is it really like there?
You need to be able to answer relevant questions. What is it like there? What is the living condition there ?, what is the weather like? What are the general country’s policy and how these policies align with your set goals.
Understand your budget
Getting accommodation is an important factor you do not have to ignore. While making your research, include housing and accommodation. You do not want to be stranded in a foreign place, so it is important that all questions concerning shelter and housing have been properly answered and checked off your list.
Talk to others
Research also means talking to others. Most importantly, people who have lived or people who are currently living in that country that can share their experiences and advice on how to navigate and survive in the new country.

Health is wealth and should be taken seriously. Healthcare is different in every country. In some countries it is provided in companies while in some there is free or paid national healthcare.
You should know your healthcare plan and cost.
Language barrier
If you are moving to a country with a different language then learning the language of the country you are moving to is essential.
If you do not learn the language before moving then you need to make plans to learn immediately you get there. It is very essential because it helps you to adjust and enhance and live a settler life in the new country.
